    Whistle

    I just lost a similar whine after re-fastening the starter motor. It was just hanging on by the last bolt, and I guess the whine was air being forced out the gap by the flywheel.

    Hi Jay, It is quite easy to remove the instrument binnacle, would you consider threading the cable the other way - with the "feet first", leaving the switch to be installed into the blank before re-installing the binnacle? Regards, Jan Eirik, Oslo
