You have to see if power gets to terminal with ignition on 30 then if it closes to 87 when the relay clicks... from 87 the power should get to the pump

Do you mean I must check pin 87? I'm sorry, but pretty new to everything here

Then it's an interruption between the relay's output and pump if the relay's contact is 100% good and has power on the contact input pin... did you check if power enters and leaves the relay on the contact path?

I send the ecu in to have it tested and its not that. The fuel pump relay is clicking. I'll check the wiring and ground points. Thank you so much.

I send the ecu in to test and its fine. relay is clicking. pump only goes on when bridged with an alternative wire from speaker/backlight side.

I've had the ECU tested in the meantime and its not that. FP relay is clicking. Reset the inertia switch ( pressed the button) for what its worth. Car was 100 percent when I parked it and then it didn't want to start.

OK, as it's 14CUX you should find the OBD socket somewhere hanging unless it wasnt removed...., i'm not the best with these but i've troubleshooted one few years ago with Hawkeye, on that one the pump was working but not the injectors cos they...

To be fair, I don't think there is anything regarding how the hotwire injection and ignition systems work that hasn't been covered in the V8 section, it is really just a case of deciding which search terms to use, there is lots of detail...

Is there a way to illuminate synching as the problem? I mean can I check that and fix it?
