Absolutely thrilled to have woken up this morning to a dry footwell. Despite the heavy rain, the new foam vent seals and pins have done a cracking job.
Attention has now turned to a rattling in the dashboard. I’ve replaced the binnacle for one of the metal ones from Raptor and added new LED...

Ok so my leak is definitely the front vents.
The “Watering can” technique worked, so that’s the job to be done on Monday morning.
Condensation levels on the front windscreen were almost tropical, so going to leave the partly window open while locked up today.
-
Continued leak in the driver side (not helped by sustained rain over the last couple of nights).
I bought a “wet vac” and sucked out, under nightfall, and to the annoyance of the neighbours, a good half bucket of water from the mats/carpet.
My order of dum dum has arrived, so I need to get to...

Terrible rain over the last few days, resulting in a soaking wet footwell. To top matter, the valve on one of the front tyres failed, so it was another repair this morning.

@Garrick110 - Love the colour.
What colour is this? and did you have the hinges spared black?
-
That’s a good call on the deadlocks.
I’d considered this as an extra measure when I park away from home.
Will investigate how painful they are to install.

I gestured to an owner (as I was slowly driving past) that I liked their knackered series III (which is in much worst shape than this), and he wanted £11.5k !!
Unbelievable.
Suffice to say; it’s still in his front garden rotting away.

@miktdish - incredibly helpful. I’m going to do exactly this.
-
I made the mistake of buying black bolts (what I wanted), but I will have to look at stainless steel ones now.
-
Well this is depressing.
The new bolts are in, and they are already rusting!
Does this mean I have non-stainless steel bolts?
-
Thanks very much. Just bought these

The community here have been remarkably helpful with my questions (so thank you).
I'm looking to replace the rusty washers on my headlight surrounds. I've found the screws.
Does anyone know if this is an M3 washer?

Ok. Looks like Adflex Polyurethane Sealant... "is resistant to most automotive fluids such as diesel fuel, oils, anti freeze and alkalis as well as water and steam"
Added to basket.
Thanks for the advice.

Didn't think of this.
Pre-caffeinated.
Any suggestions on fuel proof sealants?
-
I’ve just replaced the fuel filler neck with a new one.
The issue is the sill underneath this.
