If you are hip enough to use facebook you should be able to check out my antics here with the landrover. Nearly finished most of the Landy tinkering now- loving the Limestone colour- old school!

Just to clear it up I am primarily in the Pizza game!
Wood Fired Pizza
!! Not posting here to get sales of landrovers! I am lucky enough to have access to a workshop for free however which makes all this possible! I better get out there and get a wiggle on actually- before I outstay my...

Hadn't really considered that to be honest. I do know there's a LOT of people starting out in mobile wood fired pizzas at the mo! Kinda why I am building this- to look the part, carve a niche etc. The other off the shelf option was a one of those mini van (Dahiatsu maybe?) pre converted to a...

Hi All,
I posted a thread a few months ago- I was thinking of converting an ambulance or similar in to a wood fired pizza wagon. Cost had the better of me and in the end I plumbed for a 110 Hi CAP for 2700 (with a Daihatussusu 2.8 turbo-nice!). Rear cross member had a few holes- now filled...

Bought a 110 Hi Cap for 2700. Bought a 110 old utility body for 400 quid. The process begins!

Hi,
Don't need this from my new (1989) landy. Is a bit bashed about as expected but works fine. Has two bits of wood screwed to the inner upper inside near the door mesh which are a bit battered but are holding on- easy to replace if desired. Crappy camera wouldn't show them up in bad light...

Thing is I pretty much agree with you... on all points (money). If I had the money I would go for it for the aesthetics and having a genuine piece of kit but I reckon I can achieve the desired outcome for far less money- with buying an old M.O.D 110 and going weld crazy on the back. It's a nice...

Been on the look out for a quadtech body for a while now. Nothing came up although I did see one that went for 60 quid a month back on the bay. Gutted! Don't know if I should wait around or go for the self build and aim for something like this 1989 landrover 127 workshop | eBay
That would be...

Spoke to the guy who's going to help me repair it and we're looking at building a back from the chasis up- or going for an ex-workshop (BT, elec board etc.) model if one crops up- not sure where to find this.
I am after the practicality and space of a large box that I can heavily modify...

I should think you are right! Cheers Guys I may just have to do that! I will post pictures of the re-build. Should provide some laughs.

To be honest that would be a pretty good option; little beyond my capabilities to say the least though. How much do you reckon I could sell the chasis and engine etc. for if i whipped off the ambulance body and slapped it on a working M.O.D. land rover?
