Apologies for responding to an old thread.
Can I ask others for their opinion on which is best for a vehicle that is only occasionally used. I'm swaying towards drums, for the following reasons,
1. As discussed above they are reasonably effective and seem to do fine.
2. The big plus for me is...

Thanks,
Does that mean that you end up with seats 2-3" higher than the originals due to installing the raised seat rails and the seat itself being a little thicker?

I'm thinking of fitting these. How does the seat base height compare with the original seats? Does it end up higher or can you fit them in a manner that allows them to end up the same height as the originals?
Thanks

Do you know if stainless adjustment screws are available or what the thread size is?
Thanks

Thanks

Cheers Aaron. My 90 has just broken a rear shock mounting so I'm in the process of swapping the axle cases for some galvanised disco ones.

Hi Aaron,
Do you use ordinary or stainless nuts and bolts when you are putting things back together?
Thanks

Have you rocked it back and forth a bit in gear just in case the starter has jammed in the engaged position?
