    sidewinder replied to the thread 90 fuel tank wiring?.
    A word of warning, To make the gauge work, the wiring locations seem to be different on the older and newer vehicles. I guess TD being the old and 200/ 300TDI being the newer. Probably glass and blade fuses.

    I had to remove the floor and the sill, but was able to leave my rock sliders in place. Fortunately I have a nice 1y old galvanised sill held in with SS fixings , so that was only a 5 minute job.

    Thanks for the detailed write up. To remove the bracket bolts I used a Lidl recip saw. The bolt heads were too far rusted, a cold chisel wasn't man enough and an angle grinder wouldn't fit. It took me a while to arrive at the recip saw, but...

    Hi, Did you happen to note what length of bolt goes where. I might have the same problem or a crankshaft oil seal leak. Thanks
