A word of warning,
To make the gauge work, the wiring locations seem to be different on the older and newer vehicles. I guess TD being the old and 200/ 300TDI being the newer. Probably glass and blade fuses.
I had to remove the floor and the sill, but was able to leave my rock sliders in place.
Fortunately I have a nice 1y old galvanised sill held in with SS fixings , so that was only a 5 minute job.

To remove the bracket bolts I used a Lidl recip saw.
The bolt heads were too far rusted, a cold chisel wasn't man enough and an angle grinder wouldn't fit.
It took me a while to arrive at the recip saw, but...
