Sussed. Id noticed clips were a tight fit in the recesses in the end of the arms , meaning as the arm moved throught its arc, the blade wasnt being allowed to pivot. Ive widened the recesses by bending them out slightly so the clips will move freely in them, and they are wiping perfectly now.

Fitted new “ebay genuine lucas” wiper blades. They arent clearing the screen in a couple of places. Ie the blades arent making contact with the screen. Ive fitted new clips and lubricated the pivot points on the arms , but no success. Will they bed in, or have the springs in the arms gone weak...

Slightly off topic but heated seat related. Why would mine have a passenger heated seat install but no relay on the drivers side

Chinese fuel dosing pump and fuel line have arrived. Waiting on a 2 pin plug and the remote so it can be bench tested. Tried it in its location but its oriented differently and in a different place on the D3 so its likely Ill have to fab up a mounting bracket

Heater arrived today. Wires fitted to connector X1 are canbus, and fuel dosing pump. Thanks for the info. I may yet stand to be corrected but as I understand it the later thermo top vevo is can bus controlled, the thermo top V has an input for 12v from the ambient temp sensor so it switches the unit on when less than 5 degrees and the engine is running. According to the webasto...

Fingers crossed Ive found the leak into the headlining. Sunroof drain tube was incorrectly routed and was tight. Its pulled the nozzle off the sunroof casing. Epoxied it back on. Also I think I know why the front sunroof isnt working :confused:
