Ahh! It is the ones on the rear side windows. I thought they were heater elements like on the rear windscreen. Thank you all for your time, help and advice.

I have just purchased a 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 2.2 Se. I have noticed that the RH rear heater element has an electrical wire and connection coming down from the roof lining attaching to it, as you might expect. but on the LH side there is nothing. All there is is a stud like connection at the top...
