Nah! Your alright, I'll leave that to the intellectuals, especially when you take the dash off a landy and it looks like someones thrown up coloured spaghetti behind it, hate to think how harsh it would be doing a more modern car.:eek:

1. Becasue its an utter bastard and a Landrover.

2. It was originally a petrol and had a diesel put into and the only thing that worked was the engine, no lights, no indicators, no stop lights absolutely bugger all and had been used off road as a shooting truck for a couple of years, so...

Finally I have got everything electrical working on the Series 3, what a bloody nightmare, took me 2 days to get the bloody rear fog light to work and I even have an interior light that works :) mind you it needed to work otherwise it was going to get worked over with a large sledge hammer. :eek:

Looks like I might need to replace my brake servo on the landy and the ones for series 3's are a bit expensive but I found one for a disco is cheaper, does anyone know whether you can use the later servo's on the earlier models or what else I might be able to use thats a bit cheaper!! And yes...

Thanks for that I have actually found the cable and its still attached and works - which is nice, now all I have to do is get the bloody electrics to work properly.:doh:

There are two problems with that, one is that I have an allegeric reaction to spending money and also the Haynes manual is crap. :D

No idea what diesel it has, only know that it must be a series and not a tdi, stopped by cable - bloody hell didn't know that! :eek:, any ideas where or what it attaches to?

Mornin', afternoon, evening (delete as applicable) - I need help!!!!!
Got a lwb series 3 that i'm trying to get on the road and like a lot of them its a complete lash up on the electrical front as its been converted from a petrol to a diesel lump but still with the petrol wiring loom fitted...
