Most tyre fitters or garages can remove lockers in a few seconds.
Simply buy 5 replacement standard nuts.
You can't replace studs with European style bolts, as there's no threads in the hub flange to screw bolts into.
Had a similar issue with my D2. Took it to B&B Garages Wavertree, they used some sort of socket which bit into the nut to loosen.
If you can't get down there, maybe a similar socket can be bought ?
If it worked with a bit of fiddling with the bulb it would suggest the problem is at or near the holder.
Check connections and earth are clean & secure. Buy a second-hand unit, or how difficult is it to remove otherside to slave on to test.

Possibly but getting code C1B00 which could be a faulty steering angle sensor. Other symptoms so seem to match.
Doesn't look too tricky to replace and can re-sell if it's not that.
