Thank you so much for your reply My wife has a 2014 HSE that I wanted her to see how capable they are for 'mild' off roading and what is the best way to use the terrain response. That why I was looking specifically for a FR2, incidentally we did...

Having resolved my issue, secured a refund, and avoided legal action, I can now share my experience. Outlined below is a summary of the facts and that is all I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions. On 6th February, I ordered a Marshall...

No. But firstly Welcome :) (we always like to see a post in here https://www.landyzone.co.uk/forum/introduce-yourself.20/ So what work did you have in mind for them to do? J

Yes I think that you are correct. I am going to leave it with my own mechanic to see if he can fix it, and in the interim I will look into the possibility of having it transported to him. I don’t know him personally but he has been in LR business...

Yes 100Km is a long way but if you have no one local and it has you stumped then I would be considering it. If this guy is recommended and you trust him a recovery may be money well spent ?

Nanocom or similar standard will be a best choice. But, if it were me I would be spending my money on something like Foxwell or Autell. I know many will say you need a dedicated machine but it would be nice to use them on a variety of vehicles.

So I changed the Crank Sensor tonight and the car is running. No stops or jolts so far. I am too scared to drive it around the block because I don't want to sit there for hours waiting for a recovery van. So just running it on the drive for now...

Thanks all for the replies. I fitted a new battery recently, so I went for purchasing a crank sensor and a fuel filter because it has never been changed for years. The parts arrived today so I will be fitting them this weekend unless it is...

Presume you have self closing tailgate with powered struts ? These have anti trap feature to reduce accidents. I'm guessing they are sensing an obstruction and reopening for safety. Few things to check, make sure the tailgate seal is correctly...

OOh, it's been a long time but if I recall. Fold down seat and where the bracket holds the seat in the corner there is a lever which has to be pressed, this releases the bracket. Then lift up slightly and bring it away from the centre. I seem to...

Definitely keep, but don't start throwing money at it until you know the target.

I’d get rid of the AA man and keep the FL…

Indeed. Worth getting fault codes read. Could be many things. Did AA read codes or guess ?

I could be wrong on the petrol, but my understanding is if it’s the immobiliser, it would not start at all
