whats the wieght of it?
HGV rates 4000-12000 is A0 £165
if its over 3500 you need C or above on your licence and a taco - lot of these types of vehicals once you put a car on the back go over 3500kg and if stopped cause issues with the po po. basically lots of these if you have a car licence...

would it not be on the pre 2001 rates if its <3500Kg be same as a Landy £362.25. could always put trade plates back on it?

the newer doors moved the lower seal to the door - i fitted puma style lower seals to my doors as found them a bit better as they go up each side a little way.
the older ones think are rivited on but would glue them on as its galv.

I have just rebuilt my 300 TDi CSW body entirly and I would say your better off finding a good body/starting point and paying or you will hit 30k+ if your doing it poperly with Genuine or better aftermarket parts eg. Uproar/Exmore Trim/galvanised everything.
You need to becareful with the cars...

no we are still. where the 2 large outer feet of the bulkhead mount to the chassis is where you could "potentially" brake it. the front mounting plates are still valid but i think would be less likely/less of an issue.
I was using the bolts as another example but same principle. still thinking...

I have a full set of SP panels doors inc rear and its great fits well and steel skin is so much better/stronger. had a side impact and door wasnt caved in unlike my old genuine middle doors. have ore wheel carrier and steel door feels so much more solid with Sp door.

work at a Enginering company that makes both Stainless Steel and Galvanised metal Items (not Land Rover Parts). Stainless is more brittle and wont have the same tensile strength. also why cirtian load points shouldnt use standard 8.8 equivelent Stainless Steel bolts. adds a weak point. looks...

I was told Stainless will not flex so chances are unless its a Chelsea tractor on road only, if you use your defender properly it will just sheer.
