Thanks coffeelandy, Yep I'm aware of them. There plans are based on mdf. This guy built it out of sheet metal, had lots of good ideas and workaround for shaping the metal, would like to read it again so as to copy him.

hi folks, Looking for some help. I remember seeing a post on a forum either here or lr4xr where someone stuck up a link to their mate who was building a Toylander defender out of sheet metal. Thought I had saved it for later reference and now I need it and can't find it. From memory I think...

Guys I have an early model defender the under the driver seat fuel tank. What are the sizes of the fuels lines, feed and return for the efi v8. Even better if someone knew the size in -6 or -8 for example. Thanks Shane

Well the front two on mine also had a channel just no O ring as it has a seal in the axle tube.

I have a disco 2 front and rear axle stripped I will place front and rears bearings beside each other and compare lengths tonight.

Between the two points where the bolts go through the the bulkhead onto the out riggers.

Just done mine, I braced the bottom of it with some 50mm angle and instructed them to allow air cool. Have a picture but can't upload for some reason

Hi guys, I'm thinking of getting the brake quip lines from pirtek and they asked as a rough price what size is the pipes and the fittings that go into the flexi hoses are. As I haven't a clue anyone on here know. Thanks for any help, Shane

Sorry to hijack Litch but quick question for yourself or James. I'm about to install my auto box and have never done this. How do I ensure the t/c sit back. Is there a way to measure before it's installed or after. Thanks, Shane
