Hi all
Thanks for all the feedback.
Just to add a little more detail, the only lights that are affected are the tail lights and the indicators. The headlights, front sidelights and brake lights all work as expected. I get no dimming of cabin lights. I had the LCM (mounted on the A pillar by...

We have a problem with the indicators on our Range Rover. The indicators all work fine for a while and then suddenly the indicators stop working as they should. The indicators still work but they flash very slowly and there are no indicator lights showing on the dash. If the headlights are on...

Hi all
In a previous vehicle I had, there was an option to move a fuse (it had 3 connection points and you could plug it in up or down) and it allowed you to decide whether the 12v socket stayed live when the ignition was powered off or whether it powered off at the same time. I always forget...

Guess what problem solved.
I went through all of the fuses that are located behind the glove box on the passenger side and found a broken 7.5 amp fuse that is for diagnostics, fuse no.5. Replaced the fuse and the sport mode message did not appear and vehicle started. So happy.

I checked the battery which was good. I also tried using my booster/starter and the result was just the same. I checked the earth and that seemed a good connection. The vehicle will turn over but does not start. I don't know if that is because the electrics are part of the immobilisation or...

I have no idea what caused this problem. The vehicle was parked and then the next time it was started, it didn't!
On the dash it displays Sport Mode, which it cannot be in because the gear stick moves through the PRND areas without problem. If I move the gearstick to the Sport Mode position the...

I have one remote with no extra buttons. Reading elsewhere i saw that I would have had some way to turn it on. I didn't so I guessed I don't have one. Does that sound right? It is an early td6,don't know if that is relevant?

Perhaps I don't have to Saint.V8 but I just like to be naturally helpful if I can. :) Also, I like to try to understand what is happening even if it's not me that fixes it.
Good point MyFirstL322 maybe I can disconnect if it is nice to have.

It's not on a timer. This happened after driving for about 20 minutes.
I will look in the manual but I didn't even know I had a fbh until about an hour ago, thanks to Saint.V8, so I wouldn't have known what to look for in the manual.
I assume that the vehicle shouldn't be driven?

Done that. Phew.
I am gonna get my mechanic on the case as I am sure it is out of my league. Just wondered what he needs to work through? I have tried to read up on the fbh but I don't really understand what would be causing it to smoke and therefore what we need to do.

Hmm, so what is the course of action and how bad is it?
:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(o_O

You can see the smoke around the pipe, it had been a little smokier but was starting to ease here.
