As above. You've got to remove the strut to access the top mount. Technically it's possible, but as the strut is secured to hub assembly by just 2 bolts, it's not worth messing about trying to get enough space with the strut in place.
Just over 15 minutes to change one side? I'd say it'll be 15 minutes to remove the first rusty, seized-up bolt when I start doing mine (once the rain stops)....
Hello, is it possible to change it with spring clamps while suspensions are under tension with car on the ground or car on a jackstand? Or is it recommended to only change with the whole thing off?

If you change gear, then HDC will reactive and flash green.
If a manual, I think it deactives when you depress the clutch too.
The idea is ‘feet off’ controlled hill decent in slippy conditions - think off-road/mud/snow.
Ok - try selecting first gear, the HDC light should then turn solid green, meaning it is active and working. Better still, if you have a steep hill, then try it out! Start descending slowly in first gear, then take your feet off all pedals, HDC...
Flashing HDC means you have the button selected but it is not active. In normal operation, this means you are not in first or reverse gear (the only gears HDC works).
Hello, ever since I bought the my FL1 td4 2006 the HDC have not been working at all, it seems to be speeding up when going downhill with HDC on.
