She's a 1996 model, which I've owned since 2008 and have no intention of selling. The diff makes a bad intermittent clonking and grinding in reverse. Almost sounds like the teeth are jumping. Plus I can hear it whining all the time when going forwards.

Sometimes the actuator on my Disco1's back door just can't be arsed to work. Clicking the remote twice goads it into life.

For an awning I use a cheap tarp from Machine Mart https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke-6ft-x-8ft-approx-blue-silver-polyet/
A couple of old tent poles + guy ropes. Keeps the rain off and takes a moment to set and strike.

My disco 1 now has a split charge system. Cold beer when we're on this summer's road trip. Pyrenees or east Europe.

I'm in the process of fitting a second battery to my 300 tdi Disco 1.
Getting in the way is this odd thingamajig. One of the tubes is connected to the air intake box, one has been capped off with a bit of tape and the final one is connected to a servo pipe.
Can I remove it?
