i was thinking of something like a door switch, courtesy light type switch....but with remote activation/deactivation.

i can disable mine and did, but it didn't stop them taking out a back window to open the rear door and then smash the cowling around the ignition switch before they realised that they couldn't start it (sorry at this point if somebody has already said this, but i haven't read all the post...i...

but in a kind of the answer to the original poll question, i would love to still have the Series 1 and that is the last "proper" Land Rover....but i'm biased!

agree, i've sometimes got rid of those that i should have kept and worse, kept those that should have gone. sticking with the last one...despite the thirsty nature of the v8, i like the sound.

the latest, the 90 v8 looks the same, the garden is different.

the lwb s3 with soft top wasn't too bad but was the 110 v8 pick up any better?

yes, an ex mod 90 converted from nad to 3.5v8 and my 2nd vehicle is a "genuine"...well that's what they said when they sold it me.....90 v8. the 3rd vehicle which is loaned out, is a s3 109 2.25 petrol.....good for moving furniture!:)
