I think Rimmer Bros do conversion kits: 01522 568000. good luck with it, sounds like a controlling module issue to me.

Thanks mate! The issues although possibly unconnected is that after driving home the other night I got close to empty, filled up and 15 mins later had a loss of power, then 10 mins later noticed overheating, and coolent sprayed underneath the car. I then got towed home, noticed coolent was on...

not sure about top hose, but will check....going down the stat change road first....I'll keep you posted.

How easy is it to change the head gasket (td5 01)? man hours? Do I need to get the head cleaned, how do you go about this? Is this still the only option left open to me? as prev thread. I've filled the coolent back up, my car has now run for an hour, no signs of leaks, no white smoke, gauge on...

Thanks guys! I've filled the coolent back up, ran the engine for an hour observing to see if any leaks etc, and it apears to be now running fine. No white smoke, temp stays at middle level, and nothing out of the ordinary. Do you still think it might be HG? could it just be a sticking themo?
