    the only ropey bit of our 3 dr freebie are the scratches on the sill as folks have got in and out of the vehicle.... dont want to repaint them. i had the rather nifty idea of buying some sill covers/guards to overcome any unslightly blemishes. alas whilst i can find checker plate type sill...

    ooo eck...errr just bought our 2.0 xdi freelander, what does a vcu do and is it terminal? ours feels as if the handbrake is on on full lock in reverse and forward gears, i foolishly put it down to the 4wd system having just come from 2wd vehicles

    hi folks

    just bought a w plate 2.0 xdi freelander in black, for the missus. she loves it and i'm thanking the gods she didn't want the k series petrol version (read lots and lots of horror stories). heres praying that i havent bought a friday afternoon car i.e the assemblers wanted to get home early
