That looks spot on mate. Where did you buy the fuse boxes from?

**update**
I've cleaned all earth connections, replaced all fuses and rechecked as much as I can and I think it is the fuse box connections. After cleaning the earth points and replacing the fuses I had an improvement but yesterday I went through the switches whilst wiggling every wire and some...

no mate but I did notice that myself when I uploaded the picture! It's just the camera angle.

Thanks for your advice.
I spent a couple of hours tonight on it and replaced all the glass fuses and connectors. I cleaned as many earth points as I could and unplugged the majority of the wiring, leaving enough to start the engine. I put the key in and it fired up straight away. I then plugged...

I've bought a new ignition switch which is prc2735. I have plugged it in according to the diagram below. The car was originally a 2.5td but now has a 200tdi in so I'm not 100 % this is correct.

Thanks for that mate.
I spent a couple of hours last night going over the wiring again and found a couple of fuses looking corroded and cleaned up some earth points. The car now doesn't try to turn over with the main beam switch but is very intermittent when turning the key. Sometimes it will...

Could it be as simple as that? I hope so!
I'm not sure either whether mine has the dim/dip circuit and relays so I don't know if that is a factor or not.

hi,
I've recently resprayed my 90 which included fitting a refurbished bulkhead. It was originally a td but a previous owner had a discovery 200 tdi fitted plus other amendments shall we say over the years! I'm getting right to the end of rebuilding it and have hit a bit of a brick wall. I'm...

Yh it has had a discovery engine and gearbox fitted at some point in its history. I wanted to try and get the gear levers put back in the right place.

**update**
So having spent the last few months playing around with the set up and discovering all sorts of challenges I think I've finally cracked it.
Everything was going well until I got the gearstick stuck in 5th gear. I had no way of getting home other than to drive about 15 miles back in...

I finally bit the bullet and ordered the adapter kit from Ashcrofts. It states it's for R380 but my Discovery lt77 gearbox looked like it had the same selector yoke. Starting taking this off the rail and whoever put it on did a great job as in the end I had to drill out the grub screw. Fitted...

I think if I can get the gearstick in the correct place then I'd be happy with that. Ideally I'd like to get the selector top to fit but if need be I'll replace the gearbox.

The only thing that I can think of as a reason why it wouldn't work is May be because the reverse position is different on a lt77.

I've had a brief look and it seems like they haven't been moved.
I've got a lt77 remote selector that looks like it will bolt on but the bit that connects to the selector is different. I've seen people use the selector rail adaptor that Ashcrofts sell which looks like it will do the trick but...
