    So good news tuck out the pump and saddle pump tonight couldn’t see anything wrong. Test both floats with multimeter up and down working fine. Thought problem must be somewhere else and built everything back up tried it and it’s fixed I have fuel gauge again and car runs mint again. Not clue...

    When the AA plugged it into diagnostics he said there was an open circuit on the fuel sender but said that wouldn’t make it cut out

    Thats what I was thinking. I’m gonna drain the fuel tonight and pull the pumps out and check the wiring. Will keep you posted thank you

    Hi all I’m John a Newby from Preston with a Range Rover l322 4.4 v8 diesel ( with problems but will get to them lol ) only had it for a month. Had a p38 for the last 11 years.
