i beleive they are single din behind the din 1.5 the face is just a little larger on 1.5 din

screw fix are selling these at around 30pound

could be a crack that only opens up at high temps but yeah defo sounds like headgasket to me

well i have just got my disco td5 on the road. looking at joining a few of you on a few laning days. any one about ? im free on friday and saturdays and the odd sundays the cars pretty much standard apart from a bull bar and front spots

i got a quote with yourselfs around 2 weeks ago this came back at 2400 ish i rang up and the quote had jumped to 2520, how can this happen, nothing abut me has changed

how about repairing it yourself, buy a mig welder and teach yourself. sheet steal is fairly cheap would be so much cheaper, fix one part ever few weeks , youl soon have it good again least then you know the vehicle is sound

thanks for the reply. i shall be 19 on the 9th September. i also passed on the 16th feb 2012 only been driving for 1 year 10 months if tht makes any diffrence i shall ring up when i get some time

the chassis is sound just slight surface rust, that why i bought this one eventhough its S spec once its on the road i shall steam clean the underside and waxoyl

im 18 got a disco td5 i will have 2 years noclaims in october the first year was gained on a 12 month the second year was gained on a 10 month although i get 1 year noclaims i will then have 2 years noclaims will adrian flux still accept this ?
