im sure its a perkins, on the fuel injection pump the model is a C.A.V and then its says made by the m.o.d. (being a lightweight) when it is ticking over the throttle sits back on the throttle stop. :confused:

wat could the cause be though??

hello all, my land rover has a slight engine problem. The model is a 2.25 perkins diesel, and when driving along at about half rev (25mph) the engine starts to 'miss' quite badly, the strange thing is that it is only on this rev. Above or below the engine is fine. Is there any suggestions i can...

hey, i used to have an old series 1 that used to go right up balancing between neutral and red, it went on and on and was absolutly fine im sure yours is nothing to worry about ,:)

they didnt make a series 1 lightweight, it is possibly an early series 2a which would be between 1968 and 1970, good luck
