I have now checked the pipes at the compressor one is freezing the other is only warm not too hot to touch as suggested. Does this indicate its low on gas?

I believe the auto dimming mirrors were only fitted to P38 4.6 Vogue models other models dont have the two extra power wires in the wiring loom to accomodate this function. These were also colour co-ordinated the same colour as the rest of the car. Regards Safeman
