Evening all!
I’ve seen a few discussion about DIY headlining on the 90s but no huge detail (unless my search is just poor?).
I would like to fit some headlining, and probably carry this down the back walls in the rear of the 90.
I don’t want...
I bought some glow in the dark fluid stuff a while back which you add to your oil, and then spot potential leaks using a black-light UV torch. Helped me find a couple of leaks, but only after I’d jet washed the hell out of what was there already...
Painted up the light housings because I couldn’t bear to put them back in like that. Will order some new plastic ones as I’ve had to punch a big hole through them for the wiring relay.
Replaced 3x leak off pipes which were also very much past...
Today I did the massive long job of cracking off the big nut on one of my rear trailing arms... I thought I'd see how tight it was as the front bush is well past its best and needs replaced. It turns out the answer is not that tight...
Changed the radius arm bushes on the drivers side to match the passenger side I did the other week.
Had to cut one of the bolts off as there was not chance it was coming out.
Went back together no problem which is good.
Britpart yellow polybushes...
I think the issue may be the power being pulled down the driver side H4 lead. Considering at this point patching into the one on the passenger side for the headlight.
Good idea getting those LED jobbies off. Silly things that really don't do much, other than blind other road users and get coated in snow in the winter.
I like the look of Quadoptics but the Crystal lamps are as better at lighting the road...
Today I’m trying to work out the puzzle which is the lighting wiring on the 90.
There were some very poor connections behind which have been removed, but as 24 hours has passed since I took them off (due to torrential rain) I need to redraw the...
My seat was much further towards the rear door and I fitted the corner bracket which comes with the mounting points.
My body bolts are fitted with similar plates to yours.
Does yours have the seatbelt connector pre-attached to the seat? I had...
Noticed a new rattle and took the door card off to find the door is split near the lock.
Thinking of a small plate with a few rivets for now as I can’t weld.
Thoughts?
Taken it out for a drive this morning. Cooling nicely, no new noises.
Only issue is a slightly higher idle than before. Pretty sure that’s just a screw adjustment. I’ll take a look when I’m wearing my scruffs again.
From memory green and brown is for the reverse switch on the back of the gearbox (assuming LT77). So it is not essential for getting or keeping the engine running. Although that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be repaired!
