At £400 I think that'll be my last shopping place. The land rover has got a lot of patina so trying to keep it in keep buy finding a used old canvas. That's the plan anyway.

3/4 canvas canopy WANTED. looking for a sand truck cab canvas canopy for a series 88" 2. Not too bothered about holes or rips. To some extent anyway. Doesn't matter if its faded or old. No windows. Solid sides.

Yeah precisely so someone must have one lying about! Tryna keep the old girl as original as I can, only 1 previous owner and 1963 so would be good to see it through.

Dont think that one will be any good anyway. Looks like this chap doesn't really know what it runs like. Need an engine to just plonk straight in and off I go. Sounds picky i know!

How can you tell from looking? Are there any obvious signs? I was going to ask him for the engine number and do it that way

I currently have a good working 2.5 but would rather keep the series 2A with the original style engine being the 2.25. There must be a few chaps on the forum who have removed these lumps for Tdi's and have them lying around I would imagine!

Wanted 2.25 diesel engine must be working or running. Or if pump is buggered to have a good head and block. Preferably a 3mb engine but not too worried either way. Cornwall, Devon or Somerset. I can collect. Sorry if this is in the wrong thread! Thank you
