    Hi I did mine recently, I happened to have a oil filter remover that did the trick, its the rubber strap design, and gave me just enough "grab" to undo the pulley bolts, although there will be plenty of other ideas on here!!!

    Interesting point! i have the same "clatter" on my front end, I need new springs anyway, as mine have corroded away!
