Thanks for the replys, I should have mentioned it was a disco. I was going to start with a set of either BFG M/T's or I like the look of the Kumho KL71's put some under body protection and see how it goes.

I have just purchased a 300tdi which I intend to do some mild off roading (fun days & green laneing etc) I also intend to fit some slightly larger M/T tyres and was wondering what suspension mods people would reccomed ie 1", 1.5" or 2" lift (I don't want to affect the steering & on road manners...
