Does anyone have any rear seat belts for a 110 defender that they would be willing to part with? The rear seat in mine is a bench seat. I only need belts for the outside seats, not the middle one. They dont stock them anywhere out here in Bahrain but I will be coming to the UK in mid November so...

sirjlocks Try using an Easy-out tool! If you can drill a small pilot hole into what is left of the screw, fit the easy-out which is a left hand threaded removal tool. Good luck!

Brakes??? Are they an optional extra or standard? How do you get a 110 to go fast enough to need brakes anyway?

Got it fixed in the end!!! The local mechy prodded around with a meter and finally found out that it was a relay causing the fan to stop in position 4!!! Thanks for the advice and suggestions all. Still got the nasty squeak though!!!!

Hi Bee When I switch to number 4 the fan stops completely. I also considered the resistor and am just getting it changed. Will let you know if that fixes it!!!

Managed to get the dashboard off, afer lots of grunting and swearing. While I was in there thought I would replace the blower switch as it didnt work on setting number 4. Replaced the switch but still the same. Any ideas? Think I got rid of the squeak though!!!

Thanks for that Roy but I still need to rip it out as I have developed a nasty annoying squeak in there somewhere that is driving me insane! Its louder than all the other normal noises!!!!

If you really insist on fitting A/C in your 110 remember you also have to fill in all the designer gaps aroun the doors, windows, battery compartment etc!!! Also I have found that the A/C in mine is pretty useless unless you block off the back of the car from behind the two front seats...

Dumb question time!!! How do you remove the dashboard from a defender 110? I have attacked it from the top, bottom and sides without success. All I want to do is get to the wiring for ciggy lighter, rear wipe/wash, fan blower switch, etc. Is there a detailed procedure for removing it...
