hey matt, but i have heard that old head units dont deliver enough power to the speakers, hence not very clear....i dont think fm transmitter would improve the quality, will it? please let me know.. thanks rucky

hey all thanks for the replies, m not botther about the clock not working, as the display is a bit fuzzy anyway....all i m concerbed about is the quality of the music.. any head unit advice? budgedt 100£ (also if possible incdule speakers as well) please regards rucky

Managed to remove the head unit from the Front Panel. i am going to buy a new head unit. what power would be good? i.e. RMS or watts?? also how would i know weather it would fit in?? Regards Rucky

Thanks for the reply. as i said before, i have not much knowledge of freelanders & car sterros either.. the quality of my speakers is not that great. would it be same in all speakers in freelander? so would new speakers wont make a differnce at all..all i am looking for is good quality...
