A sad reflection of the brand, but probably true of any RR made after the Classic era. Any vehicle can suffer an unexpected breakdown & for that eventuality I have breakdown/recovery cover, but the thought of starting a journey lacking...

This is a great guide. Amazing works by Wammers. May he rest in peace.... he knew his stuff! Seems like my compressor opted to just completely fail from one moment to the next. Was working perfectly fine only hours prior... but with the tests...

Connections aren't used at the bottom for a diesel. When mine goes I'm going to fit one of them there all alloy ones, direnza iirc?

It's a Range Rover If you got there and back without a ride on the back of a recovery truck IMO you have got a good one.

I know, I'm gutted :). I will miss the old girl though :( She'll be going in the for sale section if anyone is interested. Needs welding in the usual places, rear arches, rear quarter, or a spare parts car :eek:.

Personally, I would replace the RAD, they are prone to cracking as they age, not worth risking a cracked head for the price of a RAD IMO.

I have an old panasonic toughbook with win 7 just for the P38.. Check the block connectors behind the plastic trim in the passenger footwell.

It's just over a year since my trusty 08 reg engine blew up, a couple of weeks having spent a fortune getting the brakes and suspension joints done. te next 2, 1 was disastrous, the next a Sport was ok but cracked wheels were costing a fortune...
