I have an update on my 2007 Rangerover sport 2.7 diesel.
I stripped down the top of the engine and replaced all four camshafts from a donor engine that had cracked its crankshaft.
Comparing my camshafts with the donor camshafts I found that...
If they've rotted, some heat, oil and a good pair of mole grips.
Or cut the buggers off with a grinder👌
Then cut and make the old bolts flush and drill then out to fit bolts if you're using the part again 👍
Yea i just read that.. talk about making things complicated? But i guess it's better to fail heavy than fail light.. wouldn't be fun on the auto-barn at 120mph
