Yes. I fit the new filter to a warm engine, cycle the ign a few times until fuel is bubble free in the clear pipe and start her up, idle a bit lumpy for a few seconds then done.

doesnt it self bleed?

Thats todays job is the fuel filter. I always make sure to fill it with diesel when putting new one on to save messing about having to bleed the system :)

Did the oil and filter on mine also, along with the fuel filter. I've got the new wheel bearing g to fit and a slimline reverse light which is brighter than the candles in the boot lid🤣. We have no street lighting out here in the sticks and...

When a son available I send them underneath to take out sump plug to drain oil when no one available pipe down dip stick pipe and use suction pump. ;)

I was quoted around £320 per key for the non flip 2005 key. Around £260 was the key the rest was pairing it up to the car. Got one from local indi and paired it myself.

With the 5 buttons? The case is £20 off eBay!! I did both

OK, thanks - I have ordered, apparently genuine LR OEM cases - for my L322.

I have done 3 of my P38 cases. Easy job, just take care when ordering, some of the Chinese cases are no good.

This is the avenue I am now attempting. I'll let you know how I get on. I might post a picture of the disintegrating key fob - advice from here is always appreciated.

If the FOB still works, why not just get a new case and transfer the guts of your FOB?

My mechanically minded friend checked the engine and saw nothing. I think this has just been rotten luck...

It may have been there beforehand and didn't show up on the test drive.. 😔
