    P38 GEMS AC not cold

I got it filled (think 1000/1200? - whatever the spec was) with the dye added to check for leaks etc. Then tested so expect there are no leaks. Will keep and eye on it. @stemac33 The ribbon fix still out of stock. Now to track down what the loud crackling noise from the RHS blower motor area...

    Heater Matrix Removal RHD P38

Good to hear! Yes given there is no alloy to attach to, it would be interesting to hear your experience on the temp settings etc in cabin as expect there would be a little variance?

    P38 GEMS AC not cold

Fans working, no errors, no apparent leaks, AC gets cold. Had AC tested and they found 10deg at vents..while I think it's not sufficiently cold, they seem to think it's normal for these contraptions. Since then have sometimes been getting a loud crackling noise from the RHS blower motor...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

If you are pulling the front out just beware of air pressure and once removed, I would also cut a tiny bit off the end and ensure outer edges as slightly chamfered (a small pencil sharpener works well). This ensures you have a new pt for it to locate. Frankly easier to add new lines to the front...

P38A EAS & Nanocom - not talking to each other!

Can you cycle relay/eas via obd port using a small jumper - Pin 1 (relay) and Pin 5 (Ground) on obd2 port (click/show slow 35 etc). As with all jumpers be very careful you don't inadvertently touch/contact anywhere else.

P38A Can anyone identify these parts.

Think in addition to door latches (one with 'tail' is early P38), sunroof motor, brake switch for cruise control.

    P38A Isolating a leak.

Great idea to link to tailgate! Running a basic switch in mine for a while and have not come up with any issues (except when i forget and get the slow message). Would be good to link to ignition on/off. Whats the easiest/closest pts to hook this up? Assume you have not had any issues with this?

    P38 GEMS AC not cold

No. As an aside, the temp blend motor is the top/vertically mounted one on the RHS?

    Heater Matrix Removal RHD P38

Yes, same with the single bolt. Never like to overtighten something. Hence prefer to to verify and nip it up whenever possible. It would have been trivial for LR to design so it clamps evenly. Suspect it would have cost them a few more cents per part, perish the thought. Having said that, the...

P38A EAS & Nanocom - not talking to each other!

Btw. I have also seen no connectivity with EAS when the delay (under the LHS seat) is taken out of the equation (say is stuff/by-passed)

P38A EAS & Nanocom - not talking to each other!

Strange behaviour indeed. Just to clarify you are running the nonocom with ignition in position 2 or with car started? Generally all except BECM needs this for the nanocom. Mine occasionaly refuses to go back a menu. Could be a touchscreen issue? However this behaviour only appears in the EAS...
