    Wonky lights

I don't know but as it went in as easily one way as the other I guess it is pretty knackered. I need to get a new plastic housing if not a new unit as I can no longer screw the light cover onto the plastic as it isn't there. Gaffer tape is a poor substitute

    Wonky lights

Well, I appear to have ticked that box quite nicely. What's next? :o Popped the bulb out at lunch and turned it round and bingo all was good. Slob: cheers for assuming I was competent at this sort of thing - I always assumed that the increase in brightness was due to a higher voltage coming...

    Wonky lights

Pos, I did understand what you were on about and I'll put it third on my list. With regard to putting the bulb in I followed this logic. Put bulb in - twist bulb around - turn light on - light comes on - job done. Now if someone's going to put points in higher and/or lower and complicate the...

    Wonky lights

I hate peple with lights out on their motors - winds me right up! Just don't want to be that guy. Cool - i'll jigger it with my poker tommorow and see what comes of it.

give this a read, then scream at the dog

I like the question in Point 2 What did your dad drive you around in when you were small? A dirty great Range Rover. Looks like I'm just carrying on the family line! Ross

how you know when ur timing belts knackered?

I am no expert but I was told that (on a TDi 200) when the timing belt goes it won't do much damage except to bend a timing pin which is pennies to replace - plus the cost of the belt but apparently the engine damage is minimal. Maybe someone can confirm this? Ross

    New to all of this

Hi there, I'm Ross, I bought my first Landrover in November and thought that this might be a good place to learn stuff about them and find out about good places to go driving. I have a lovely 90 - Tdi 200 with just over 130,000 on the clock. I am a falconer by trade and my previous hawking...
