Well it turned out to be a faulty injector. I was surprised as it didnt show signs of miss firing, however it did sound like it was pinking slightly. Thanks for your replies RD

Thanks for the help guys but I have despatched it to a landrover specialist to check over. I think it could be the fuel filter as it revs ok at standstill. Will let you knoiw the outcome once i get it repaired.
