Hi. I didn't disconnect the battery first when I fitted the switch. I didn't realise that would affect it. I don't get the other lights on that you mention.

Sorry I clicked post reply before I'd finished! Thanks for the info and the offer of the code read. I'm not a million miles away so that is definitely doable. The car is a td4 auto.
