Hi Marc, I have a '96 2.5DSE and experience a similar problem. At about 60-70mph the rev counter (and engine) surges slightly, regardless of whether cruise control is engaged or not. If i accelerate then the surging stops and it only seems to occur at around that speed. I don't have any problems...
