Fixin freelander get rid asap:mad: :) now got a disco better till water pump went :( :) but better now.

Just done my TD3 no probs you dont need to remove the fan just the pullys obv water pump and pwr steering its tight but not 2 bad 2/3 hours Good luck

Hi its at the front l h side you will need to drop the splash guard an un bolt it bewhare of oil spill from it use a cork new ones are cheap abt £5.00 . Did mine just bfr the head gaskit went. Rob

I have seen a disco for 2k but it has some rot holes where the front wings meet the sills only small holes will this mean an MOT fail? You can only see when the doors are open

Thanks for all the ideas may try a weld but i only have an ark welder would that do it as i dont want to meld the aloy on the head! Trying to find an engin at sencible money then get rid of it an by a disco tdi But thanks any way. Any one know a good mec in leeds west yorks? Chears Rob

Thanks tempting to use a gall, but no the star drive have almost gone it looks like its been over tightend when it had its last gaskit done I am tring to fit a new head gaskit but its now looking like a new engine. Ta Rob
