    Ideally, to check the steering you'll need a helper. If the helper swings the wheel from side to side repeatedly, just enough to start turning the wheels while they are on the ground, you can check for movement.     Engine oil confusion

    According to the green bible (workshop manual), these are the recommendations for temperature ranges: -20 to +30 = 10W/40 or 10W50 -10 to +30 = 15W40 or 15W50 0 to +30 = 20W40 or 20W50 HTH, Robin.

    Dormobile still produce roofs for Series (and 110) Land Rovers. I talked to them a couple of weeks ago at an Overland show where we (LRCC) were exhibiting and they were quoting around £2,200 for a DIY fitted roof and around £3,000 fully fitted. Cheers, Robin.
