Crimping, soooo much crimping! Had EAS error message pop up a couple of times, but only the soft error. So my dad @Mark Piercy said to look at the plugs in the driver's side footwell, the passenger side ones had been done so that ruled that out. Turns out the common leak from the cabin filter...

A bit of polish and all is right with the world! Just don't look too closely or you'll see the rusty bonnet:p
-
Nah if I clean it, it won't look like a diesel
-
Yeah a bit of clear coat and some black paint and it looks better than the plastic one, well in me opinion :p
-
Looks like today is air and cabin filter cleaning day for me and @Mark Piercy , after some pretty dusty off roading last week. Fixed a leak (well I hope) on the divers side cabin filter cover that was making my carpet look and smell like a dish sponge! Have a nice weekend all :)

Sorry guys! It's an automatic gearbox, I thought that I had written it down but no.
-
Hey guys and gals! Long time no post! Me and my dad both replaced the oil in ye olde box of magical gears with Manol Dexron 3 oil and have noticed that our boxes are behaving weirdly. They shunt when they change gear and will come up with "gearbox overheating" on the dashboard if booted in the...

Yeah my whole car is my list! I still need to take off the rear bumper to take off the cross member and remove the rust off of it and other miscellaneous important stuff, it gets flagged at the MOT but it doesn't fail it (yet!)

Jesus Christ! No mine isn't that bad *touches wood trim and prays to the Land Rover gods*... the s****y battery and faulty connections in the passenger side foot whell were the main suspects of all my electrical problems. The 1000cca battery gives the engine a kick up the rear end when it starts :)
-
Ooof! I'm surprised it didn't go up in smoke! My dad sais, how's the doll?
-
When I looked behind the sub and the interior trim on my search for the mysterious DSP I didn't find any mounting points for it or any cables for it to plug in to. Only the plug for the small sub amp that bolts onto the side of the sub.
-
Nah my dude! It's a 2000, but with a very iffy history of bodge jobs and crappy resprays
-
Haha! Nice! All my other amps work, just need the sub one for some window rattling bass! I can repair the speakers (my dad did his the other week) as they're not that badly damage, the foam has detached from the disk, but all that is for f*** all if I can't get an amp. I looked on google for a...
-
I thought it had one (DSP AMP), but upon inspection some cretin has put his dirty mits in there (no not @Mark Piercy) and took the little amp off of the sub, not that it would work mind you as it's got more tape on it than speaker! I don't think it ever had a DSP, it's only the 10 speaker...

Hey where did you find that picture of me!? :p
