Hi trying to find replacement key barrels for front doors on my Defender 90 TD5 ( as its a rebuilt) i dont know what model the doors came from originally….. bought some barrels from Land Ranger but not the right ones !……..anyone recognise from attache photo please reply …. thanks

Hi prev owner had moved it to the underside for some reason ?… i found it and extended it up through the passenger side glove box …… thank you chaps for all your answers ….sorry for causing some friction with 2 guys whom i must’ve confused …☹️🙃🙃

Hi looking for a company to replace the windscreen with a heated one on my rebuilt TD5 Defender 90 ( on a 1984 chassis) …. i am based in South Manchester. Also central locking has been installed but no keys for passenger doors is it just to change lock barrels ??

Hi it did’nt crank over, and it had the red engine light flashing onit ……but .. after i found the OBD i got the original comp back out to replace the FOB and after me spending time under in the rain and more importantly spending some of my dosh its now roarin’ as before

FYI—- i found the OBD connector in a bag under the car Tie wrapped above the transmission just below the centre console

i had guy out yesterday from a locally recommended company who spent a hour or so looking for the OBD but gave up and said there is’nt one …his theory was as its registered as a 1984 model they dont have them

Cheers mate …. i’m in a bit of a confused state at pres , been wound up by crazy people offering crazy prices to help me fix/replace the fob,as i needed it sorted asap i put it out there ……. i need to relax and start using Uber for a spell ……. start afresh on Monday when dealers etc are open

Hi here is some photos … the original army guy built it up from the chassis over a number of years while in service , vin/engine numbers (TD5 turbo diesel )etc all match i knew it was a 90 and i mistakenly called it a defender in prev message……i’ve been using it as my everyday car but its now...

Hi 1984 Defender with a TD5 diesel eng, all been updated a few owners ago … pas/leccy/windows etc etc …..i assume the central locking is original LR and the fob has stopped working but the red light on dash is still blinking , doors are open tho’ but the engine wont turn over landowner, post...

Hi yeah i just found that out ….. my central locking fob wont work and the garage was hoping to re program a new one using the obd ??…….. the central locking has a imobilisor attached , so i’m told so engine wont turn over
