Hi Chaps, I have a Freelander 1 54 plate 1.8 petrol, front end written of by third party insurance company. Just getting it returned for breaking. Any body wants to make an offer welcome.is the prop shaft and rear diff the same as 2.0 diesel 1999 plate?

I've not checked that out recently, but I did notice the poor quality bracket when I changed the clutch. I'll take a closer look and maybe make a beefier replacement unless its designed to flex for alignment.

Sorry its a 1999 frelander 1 2.0 ltr diesal.

Hi Chaps, thanks for the add to the Guru group of landy's, this problem is worse in the summer and after towing for a while. I'm hoping its just the gear linkage bushes are worn. I changed the clutch ~ 80 K ago its not slipping or dragging. Any ideas would be grateful. Cheers.
