thank you for that,the surround for the clocks is damaged so they may have changed the clocks,would this disco come from the factory with the msb ecu it was first registerd in june of 02

yes it was there when I bought the disco, looking at the mot history the milage jumped by 60k in one year think the previouse owner must have changed the ecu then or is it the clocks that store the mileage

had my friend do a diagnostic with nanocom when I bought it no fault codes logged

ok will speak to my mate who has a nanocom

can the msb be remapped to suit my disco because I know a chap that can do the remap

vin is 2a760848 and ecu is 2450 msb101340

sierrafery I just read one of your posts about putting a 10p ecu in a15p disco my ecu is msb but you say it should be a nnn would that cause my problem

the battery is good.and a new alternator just fitted,would a faulty tps give these symptoms, strange thing when left to run for a few minutes it runs ok allbeit a bit sluggish for the first few miles then no problem.

when cold or first use of the day,it starts great but if I put it into gear it wont rev so wont move.Even if I put my foot to the floor no throttle response what so ever.
