Hi,
Much to the delight  of my wife I have just bought a second Range Rover (its already cost me a fortune in the Debenhams crockery department, and I'm sure she muttered something about shoes on the way out the door this morning)........anyway, its a '72 chassis with a nicely warbling V8...

Doh!
Was convinced that the two front windows had failed on different days and was therefore distracted from the bleedin' obvious.......a fuse!
Thanks! Thats saved me £20 on ebay.

I have a trusty 1993 TDi Range Rover whose front windows have just packed up within a couple of days of each other......which is ideal in this hot weather! The rear ones work without a problem. I've switched over the switches and the relays between front and rear (no...

Hi, Does anyone have a swing away spare wheel carrier on their Rangie Classic?
I picked one up last year on ebay for a 'bargain' £25, since then it has sat in my 'projects department' (aka the shed). Now that I've finally got around to lining it up on the back of my Rangie, I can see that...

Hi, we're taking our Rangie classic on a weeks tour of the West coast of Ireland. Anyone know of any green lanes/mountain passes that we could explore whilst we're over there?
Cheers!

Point taken. Reckon the garage should be high enoughto set something up. Best I go and find some oil to put this into practise.

Have an old Grunfos central heating pump that has clearly been sitting in my garage waiting for this moment. Move over Heath Robinson, its going to be an interesting weekand!

Thanks for the ebay link. Guess I'll need some sort of pump to push the oil through the filter though.

The floorpan certainly is, so I would guess the chassis is as well.....else how would it fit?

Hmmm....assume WVO = Waste Vegetable Oil?.....Christ 40p / litre!!! Thought chippys would be giving the stuff away. Saw new stuff in Asda (thats pronounced "Azdurs" down here in Plymouth) for 44p back in the summer.
Incidentally, can someone tell me in laypersons terms what a 5 micron filter...

Hi. Chuffed to bits with the performance of my Disco on Tesco's finest (read: cheapest) vegetable oil at a 50:50 mix. Now want to get REAAALLLY stingy (and of course more eco-friendly) by burning used vegetable oil from the local chippy. Is anyone out there doing this? If so how are you...

Hi, Bit long-winded this so forgive me..........
The runners on the base of the Rangie seats are set wider apart than the rails on the base plate for the Disco. Not a problem! I used 6mm chequer plate, with suitable holes drilled, to bolt the two together together: NOTE!!! The rear bolts on the...
