    My 88' Project

 OK, so production was started before the war, they made 210 before production was ceased. What's your problem? We have a debate about the history of VWs, why does that make you

    My 88' Project

Nice work. Most of it's solid, it does need a bit of welding, but I'm not planning on taking the body apart. I kow what you mean though, about planning on fixing one thing & ending up taking it all apart - that's how my blue Beetle started, in the end it took me a year & a half & over 20k

    My 88' Project

It does have an MOT, but once I got it home & had a good look over it, I realised it must have been a dodgey one. Only realised when we got home that it won't go into 2 wheel drive, didn't know you shouldn't drive it on the road like that  Yep, the dumbirons don't look pretty, but...

    My 88' Project

Hey guys Here are some pics of the 88", I just bought for my wife. :D It needs a fair bit of work underneith, usual welding **** I guess. Once I've done that I'm going to sand blast the chassis, and replace all the steering components & detail it all up. The plan is for power steering & disc...

    Power Steering

hey guys, another question from me. What would I need, to fit power steering to my 88'? Can I fit defender parts? Also, do Defender's have disc brakes, as I'd like to fit those too. Thanks, sorry if it sounds a daft question. :)

    Snorkel

Cool! Thanks for the pics. Ended up getting one designed for a Defender, £60 on ebay. I need to mod the mounting plate though, to suit the Series air intake. Gonna get some pics up tomorrow of the Land Rover, I'm gonna be busy sorting the rot on the chassis

    Snorkel

HI, Does anyone know if you can get snorkel kits for Series 3's, or do I have to buy one for a Defender & mod it? Thanks very much! Rich
