Sprayed some de-icer in there plus heated up the key and voila!!! Like magic. I'm from los angeles on a road trip in Alberta and must say was super perplexed when the issue arose.. Glad it happened in banff on not in the open road. Thank you very much for the tip!! Cheers from Alberta!

Hoping someone can shed some light on this peculiar problem. I have a 1997 Discovery with key operated fuel filler flap that is not opening/unlocking. I have tried locking unlocking with key fob, manually from the inside but pulling the driver side lock up and down (it is really hard to pull up...
