Morning All I have now removed left rear (as sitting in car) window regulator. Now looking to buy a new one and have found a couple. However in the photographs of the new ones, although it looks like the correct part, they have a part number of CVH101212. My old one has the part number...

Think problem maybe that I can only lower window about half way. However shall take another look this afternoon.

Afternoon All Have taken door card off and can see the three bolts that hold motor in place but how on earth do you get to the bolts that are clamping the glass to rail. Have searched on here but can't seem to find anything.

Thanks for the responce Hippo. It was a cold day but apparently more than a puff of smoke but I'll check it out. I rarley drive the car but it does seem odd that bonnet is cold.
