I bought my 110 so that when people laughed at me for driving my girlfriend's Yaris I could say 'My other vehicle is a defender' But seriously - I wanted to learn more about maintaining vehicles and to transport equipment to events in muddy fields, oh and maybe a bit of greenlaning.

Hmm, I'll have to check that. I thought it was the diff because I've turned the rear prop (which turns quite a lot) and I can hear the loud clonking in the diff that I hear when taking up drive.

Hi, I've got a 200tdi 110 hard top with Salisbury axles (with discs on the rear) I've got a huge amount of Backlash in the Rear diff and so was looking at replacing it, Having looked around it seems easiest to just buy a whole new (or old) axle with drum brakes and swap the diff over...
