There are plenty of HSE Sd4's out there. I'd keep looking. Worth spending a little more to find one leak and corrosion free. In the long run it could save you money on chasing repairs , time off the road etc.
Always do a full MOT check on the Government website. This will tell you whether a...

Thinking of ditching my i6 HSE and replacing it with a 3 door Evoque. But it's a heavily modified beast. Not for the shy type or those who don't like getting attention. It's also loud !
I've had it 8 years now and have enjoyed every minute. But I've had this itch to modify a 3 door Evoque and...

Sorry for the late reply. I deleted the guy's details a good while ago as I had no intention of contacting him again. To be totally honest, what you get from him isn't the best. It's made of fibreglass and has various fit issues. The elbows and "vacuum cleaner" pipe just don't seem to fit at all...

First thing I do before every car purchase - check the old MOT's on the DVLA website. This gives an indicator as to how the vehicle has been treated. Lots of fails for stupid things like insufficient washer fluid, or indicators not working, headlight beam etc are no biggy.

Certain areas were cut out, straightened up, reduced or whatever needed to be done. Then just lots of filling and sanding using carbon fibre filler to add strength, followed by several layers of high build primer and finally a few coats of satin black.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I've lifted all of my Freelanders, including my current F2.

Very old pic of my V6 in it's first incarnation with 205/80/16 Bronco Diamondbacks. I had 30mm spacers and I can tell you that the fronts rubbed the rear of the inner arches on full lock . Other people has said that 205/80/16's do not rub. Maybe it was the aggressive tread pattern which was very...

Dead and buried. Interest waned . Not enough competitors turned up at the last rally - or so I was told. Below - my old V6.

Looks to have lost it's FWD as the engine is inline.

I've got a new (well , never fitted anyway) Simtec plug'n'play loom with extra wires for a set of spotlights. Willing to let it go..................sold my last F1 3 years ago and that was a genuine facelift anyway !!

Can't be used as it will show an ABS error as it's incorrect for a later vehicle. Although will physically fit once the ring is removed, you may experience ABS problems so not worth messing with. I still have the new driveshaft complete with ring - FREE to collector if anyone wants it .

133,000 when bought last year. Now this may have put others off buying the vehicle - being a petrol i6. However I read the entire advert which showed that at 114,000 Land Rover fitted a brand new engine and drivetrain to the vehicle. I ended up with a real bargain. All the trouble areas people...
